Write it down. Whatever it is. And make it happen!" |
-Hi!
This is me, my husband, Derek, and our sweet daughter, Ayla. The pictures below are the other important people, and puppy, in our lives. I'm originally from Wisconsin where I was born and raised, but when I finished my teaching degree I decided winter was not for me! I moved to Arizona and spent a few years teaching science in a public charter school. Finally, I moved to California and have worked here at LCC for the last six years! This is my seventh year at LCC where I'll be teaching Chemistry and Biology. Science has always been a great passion of mine. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor's degree in both applied science and science education. Also, I recently finished my master's degree in Educational Administration with my Administrators Credential from CSU- San Marcos. My favorite part about teaching is my students, but I also love making science challenging, exciting, fun, and applicable to our everyday life. There is no better feeling than to watch my students succeed! This year, I'm teaching chemistry periods 2, 4, and 6; along with teaching biology periods 5, 7. I am available via email during all class times and will be hosting office hours (by appointment) on Thursdays and Fridays during YOUR scheduled class time! If you are struggling, make sure to take advantage of this one-on-one time! I hope we have a fabulous year and if ever need anything - please feel free to contact me! ~ Mrs. Carlyle ~ Study while others are sleeping, work while others are loafing, prepare while others are playing, and dream while others are wishing." Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today." |
